Bandhavgarh Park was declared a National Park in the 1968 AD. Bandhavgarh National Park is situated in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. . It is situated in the Central India. It is one of the famous and most popular National Parks in India. Bandhavgarh National Park is bounded by thirty two hills. It was once time the reserve hunted ground for Maharaja of Rewa. There is having diverse trees of dhobin, saga, sal, bamboo with green grassland. Bandhavgarh wildlife sanctuary is mostly famous for its Tigers.

There are as well as more than 250 different species of Birds, 35 different species of mammals, approximately 75 different species of many reptiles and butterfly. According to the authorized officer (official data) this national park is house to about mere then 400 Tigers. There are maximum chance of seen the Tiger of sighting during time. Here are comes large numbers of tourist from all worlds for see the king of jungle because there are many tigers live.

Along with this in the Bandhavgarh National Park several of the others animal different species which are founds Sloth Bear, Nilgai, Leopard, , Wild Boar, Chital, Faced, Langur, Elephants, Sambar, Chausingha, Deer, Chinkara, Indian Bison and much more. There are found famous bird's different species that you can be seen are Parakeets, Black Stork, Minivets, White Bellied Dronges, Steppe Eagles Hens and much more. In the migratory season you can be seen also various species of bird, which mostly include are Siberians Sarus, Cranes etc.
In the Bandhavgarh wildlife Sanctuary mainly visiting seasons half November to June. This is also the best time to seeing tigers but this park closed during in the monsoon.

How to reach Bandhavgarh

By Road

Regular bus services are available to all major cities in Madhya Pradesh and other nearest state to this national park. This Park is located on the Rewa-Umaria and Satna-Umaria highway. Buses category includes super deluxe, deluxe, A.C .and non A.C. from Katni-75 KM, Kanha-250. Khajuraho-230 KM, Rewa-115 KM, Varanasi-340 KM, Umaria-30 KM etc to Bandhavgarh National Park.

By Rail

Nearest Railway station is located at Umaria railhead station which is about 30 Kilometer. This station is well connected by India railway network to all major cities in India. 

By Air

Nearest Airport is located at Khajuraho airport which is about 225 KM.
